Games are an integral part of learning. To infuse the students with a team spirit and channelize their energy into fruitful accomplishments, an Annual Sports Meet is held on the campus. The young sportspersons display a rare blend of strength and stamina. They wholeheartedly participate in the sports events and get an intensive Training in calisthenics. The students participate in door as well as outdoor games. The College has good infrastructure
for sports & games. The activities include various outdoor games like Softball, Basketball, Volley Ball, Gymnastics, Hand Ball, Badminton, Cricket and Football and indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess, Chinese Checker, Carom and gymnasium room, Inter class competitions and Annual Athletic meet are special features.
Sports & Physical Activities: The institute has excellent facilities for the following types of activities.
Indoor Games:- Table - Tennis, Chess & Carrom.
Out Door Games:- Cricket, Football, Throw ball, Volleyball, Basket Ball, Badminton & Kabaddi.
Co-Curricular Activities
Keeping in view the around development of students, various societies have been formed at the college level.
Different activities like quiz competitions, Musical evenings, hiking & trekking, industrial visits, technical exhibitions, fine arts and photo graphic exhibitions etc. are organized in a planned manner. Students are also encouraged to take part in intercollegiate competitions
Residing Facility
Hostels life a student cultivate self-dependence, independent thinking, cooperative spirit and managerial capabilities. DPGITM has there for provided residential accommodation on campus for both boys and girls. The hostels are spacious and fully furnished with beds, study tables, chairs cupboards. The Hostel Mess provides nutritious and hygienically prepared meal and clean drinking water through RO System.
